Description:

The topic of the talk will be a compact special purpose radar for small arms fire detection and shooter geolocation to distances up to a mile. He will also cover extensions of the technology into the detection and tracking of this work to Rockets, Mortars, and Drones.

Speaker:

Dr. Mike Pascale, CTO at Syntonics, an Ironwave Technology company, has been working in Radar since 1982 when he started with Northrop Grumman (previously Westinghouse), then at his own company since 2001 which is now Ironwave as the result of a couple of mergers. Over that time, he has contributed to the F-16,TPS-70, series, AWACS, and Wedgetail radars among others with advanced topics including Adaptive Digital Beamforming and Space-Time Adaptive Processing.
