Title: “The Importance of PNT Testing for Defense Applications”
Description:
Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) systems are critical to many modern military capabilities, but they are increasingly vulnerable to jamming, spoofing, environmental effects, and system integration issues. This presentation will discuss the role of PNT testing throughout a system’s lifecycle, including vulnerability assessment, regression testing, performance validation, and mission assurance, with examples of how simulation-based test environments can help identify and mitigate risks before deployment.
Speaker:
Mr. Shane Meek is a Solutions Architect with Keysight Technologies supporting Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) and GNSS simulation solutions for government and defense customers. Prior to joining Keysight, Shane spent five years supporting Department of Defense test and evaluation efforts in Dayton, Ohio, where he worked on GNSS vulnerability testing, situational awareness systems, CRPA evaluations, and other PNT-related test activities.
